Yell.com: Marcus' Gangsta Party
This spot is by AKQA London. Marcus is like the boy version of Veruca Salt from Wally Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. “Daddy I want a golden goose, and I want it NOW!” Only Marcus wants to be ghetto, with gold chains, not a golden goose.

In Japan, there is a rising popularity in novels created by Japanese girls written on their cell phones. The novels are also being criticized for being inauthentic and having less merit for being written on a cellphone instead of more traditional methods. An abstract of an article from The New Yorker.

"Pontiac Firebird 82"
And the song from the marina still-shot video is "Pontiac Firebird 82." Can't figure out if the artist's name is Sonido Lasser Drakar or Maria Daniela y su Sonido Lasser. Either way, it's definitely a Mexican electronic duo.
My Robot Friend--"Robot High School"
The song from the monster truck rally tilt-shift video is "Robot High School" by My Robot Friend. Also known as Howard Robot, My Robot Friend has opened for acts such as the Scissor Scissors and Le Tigre. Really catchy vibe.
Tilt-Shift Video
Tilt-shift video--making the world look like miniatures one photo at a time. Time elapse them together and you get amazing results. Below are images from the Hoover Dam and if you click here you can see what a monster truck rally and marina look like in miniature.
Kung Fu Panda
Artist's renditions of KungFu Panda from Variety Japan. Sure the words are in Japanese and you may not be able to read them but the images speak for themselves.
And more (Kung Fu?) Panda images can be found on the armyofsnipers blog. The image of the peaceful bamboo-eating panda will never be the same. These guys will rip you to shreds five times before you hit the ground.

And in a similar fashion, artist Joshua Callaghan has turned ugly urban utility structures in and around Culver City, CA into works of art by painting them to look like part of their environment.

Royksopp--"Remind Me"
The music video for "Remind Me" by Norwegian electronic duo Royksopp (running Scandinavian electronic theme running here?). A day in the life at its finest. You might recognize the song from the "It's so easy a cave man can do it" GEICO commercial where the caveman is in an airport on the horizontal escalator.
Minilogue--"Animals"
The music video for "Animals" by Swedish electronic duo Minologue. I'm all about the guy that's hammering the apples on his head. If you like the sound, check out their website. Their latest album is very minimalist house/techno.
